In this problem the surgeon takes your tonsil, Uvula and soft palate out. This surgery helps to provide more room for airflow and leaves less vibratory tissues in your throat. This helps to stop people from snoring.

- Cautery- assisted uvulopalatoplasty (CAUP): In place of the using a laser in this problem, some of the physicians also uses Cautery equipment. The heated wire or electrode is used to burn all the part of the uvula. This has been found in the review that the effectiveness of UPPP, LAUP and CAUP procedures are similar in their prospect and they perform the similar work that to provide the person free from the problem of snoring. The CAUP procedures are easy and least painful.
- Stiffening the tissue in the throat and soft palate: In this the surgeon uses electrocautery equipment to remove part of the soft palate. This has shown 92% of short-term success rate.
- Tracheotomy: In this surgery the surgeon opens the wind- pipe, and bypasses the obstruction and provides relieves in snoring and sleep apnea completely.
