Snoring Exercises are targeted solely to eliminate the snoring problem. Exercises in general are done to increase the overall feeling of wellbeing and finally help to reduce snoring in the patient. The exercise that are done specifically for snoring target the muscles and structures that are associated with the vibration that are the causes of snoring.
In general these exercises are associated with the vibration that causes you snore, this generally happens when the body becomes older and at that time it tends to lose the elasticity and muscle tone. The throat area is the body part where the snoring noise originates. These snoring sounds are made when the area like the soft palate and uvula vibrates due to passing air. In all these condition the snoring exercise will help to retain the tongue and lower jaw.
When the jaw drops open and gradually slips backward and causing the base of the tongue to block the airflow in the throat then this results in the more snoring problem and this distribution cause snoring problem. In this condition snoring exercises are very important as such this will help you to retain tongue and lower jaw.
In order to avoid theses snoring problem the patient can take the help of snoring exercise, the steps of exercises are discussed below:
- Step 1: At first you will have to sit straight and for the first exercise overhang the lower jaw teeth line out in the front of the upper jaw teeth line and continue this for ten times.
- Step 2: Then relax your lower jaw and move it side wards many times and then you can start your second exercise that is performed to straining and strengthening the lax throat tube that generally causes snoring problem this vibrates when you are in sleep and thus causes anoxia and risks of distributed sleep and also cardiac events. In this case second exercise is necessary.
- Step 3: In the third exercise toy will have to hold your lower jaw on both sides by your palms or fingers of your hands or you can only use thumbs below sides of your chin. Place them correctly and try to open your mouth and by performing this you will feel that your lower jaw will be pushed down against the resistance that you offer. You will have to perform this exercise many times and will have to increase its frequency s you go along. Then relax your lower jaws again and just go to sleep with head end of your bed post raised by 6 inches and try to sleep on your sides
- Step 4: If you still snore then ask your partner to just do a thumbs up to you chin lower jaw and then look how then snore stops immediately. By this you can recognize that you need more exercise and this also means that you are on the way to stop snoring sooner if you lose your weight as well.
